Things That Come To Mind

Here's a list of things that I want to write down so I don't forget what comes to mind:

1. writing a book that helps people write their story.  Everyone has a story, and I think this would help people to achieve their dream of writing their own.

2. Peanut butter in a disposable container (similar to ketchup or cream cheese packets).  Who are some companies that would consider marketing or producing this?

Why Am I So Annoyed?

So one of the things I thought I should write down are the little things that tend to annoy or irk me.  Yes, this can be a completely unproductive and narcissistic exercise, but I have to admit it will be more than a little satisfying to get these thoughts in writing.

Not in any order:

1. People who don't know they can turn right on red.
2. People who don't bother using their turn signals.
3. People who use their turn signals BUT only AS they are turning.  What's the point?!  Is it to notify yourself that you are turning AS you are turning?  C'mon people!
4. People who drive slowly in the passing lane.

5. Both unripe and overripe bananas.  I love bananas.  Really.  But it's amazing how short their optimal eating time frame is.

Why Am I So Forgetful?

Have you ever walked into an area in your house and totally forgot the reason you entered the room?

I always think to myself when I can't remember a specific thing or item, "oh, I should have written that down."

Well - there you have the main reason for this blog.  Unoriginal yet true.  I'm forgetful.  I wish I wasn't.  I wish I could remember all of things I've ever read, learned, thought, imagined.  And then I could retrieve the good thoughts and throw away the bad ones.

This will (hopefully) force me to be in the habit of writing on a semi-regular basis.  Notice how I've already qualified my blog by stating the words "hopefully" and "semi-regular basis."

We'll see what happens for a month.
